About Curriculum

Attendant Care

A service that provides qualified individuals with needed services empowering them to remain in their own homes while participating in work and community activities.

It offers personalized care, homemaking, companionship, and supervision. Our certified caregivers also perform daily living tasks for members who cannot perform these tasks for themselves.

Respite

This service is designed to provide relief to a family member or individual caring for the member receiving services. The services can occur in the home of an individual or within the community by a certified provider.

Our goal is to provide individuals with supervision in a safe living environment that will meet their emotional, physical, and mental well-being while delivering relief to their parents or the person caring for them.

Habilitation

This service focuses on assisting members in socialization, adaptive skills, independent living skills, and unique developmental skills. The service provides an added variety of interventions designed to maximize the functioning of persons with intellectual disabilities.

Services may include but are not limited to habilitative therapies, special developmental skills, behavior intervention, and sensorimotor development.

Group Supported Employment

A service that provides long-term, ongoing support services for an employed individual. Services may include but are not limited to habilitative therapies, special developmental skills, behavior intervention, and sensory-motor development. This group service provides members with an on-site supervised work environment in a community employment setting. 

Our focus is to provide employment programs through which individuals can learn essential functional job skills. Skills that are required to ensure employment longevity. Such as interpersonal skills, customer service skills, overall professionalism, among others. Members will gain essential skills to be mindful community contributors.

Pathway To Employment

A service that provides training in the meaning, value, and demands of work and the development of positive attitudes toward work.

Pathway To Employment is a service that offers Division members individualized instruction, training, and support to promote skill development for integrated and competitive employment.

Transportation

This service assists in obtaining various types of transportation for specific needs. Transportation for qualified members will increase and maintain self-sufficiency, mobility, and community access for them.

Day Treatment for Adults

A service that provides specialized sensory-motor, cognitive, communicative, social interaction, and behavioral training promotes skill development for some portion of a 24-hour day. It is designed to offer facility-based and community and activities. The program helps qualified members learn new skills while utilizing existing competence. 

The goal and objective are community integration and interaction with peers, which will foster self-esteem. Our program will also teach members life skills, community safety skills and enhance their quality of life while working on individual goals to improve independence.
